As part of the series of activities for Internationalization (IZN) Week, the Global Affairs Office (GAO) will host the Internationalization Appreciation Meeting (IAM) for Employees on May 5, 2026 at 8:30 AM via Zoom.
This activity aims to: (a) enhance institutional awareness of the role of internationalization in fostering holistic improvement, and (b) encourage active employee engagement in the institutionβs internationalization initiatives, (c) update the employees on the internationalization initiatives, programs, and activities of the institution, and (d) recognize the roles of the employees who help in implementing the IZN programs for the School Year 2025-2026.
With the theme “Together, We Expand Horizonsβ,Β this yearβs IAM for Employees highlights the institutionβs continued commitment to advancing global engagement and fostering a culture of internationalization across all levels of the academic community.
The program highlights a keynote lecture by Mr. Leopoldo Jaime βLeoβ N. Valdes, President of Holy Angel University, Angeles City, Pampanga. His presentation, entitled “Internationalization as Strategy for Holistic Institutional Improvement”, is expected to provide valuable insights on how internationalization can be effectively integrated as a transformative framework for strengthening institutional systems, enhancing academic quality, and promoting sustainable development.
