Global Affairs Office
The Global Affairs Office (GAO), of Saint Louis College of San Fernando, La Union (SLC-SFLU) was instituted in January 2024 by the college president, Rev. Fr. Roderick G. Villamar, CICM, PhD. Through the establishment of the office, there will be more opportunities for SLC-SFLU to improve its academic programs, ultimately benefiting the growing Louisian community.
Office Mandate
- To facilitate and enhance the international education of students.
- To facilitate and enhance international faculty collaborations and researches.
- To promote and enhance the college’s academic reputation abroad, often in collaboration with foreign universities, business and organizations involved in internationalization initiatives and activities.
Strategic Directions
- Establish global visibility and reputation by exploring and strengthening linkages and partnerships.
- Internationalization of curricula.
- Explore, restore, and enhance student mobility activities.

The Association of the Southeast and East Asian Catholic Colleges and Universities (ASEACCU)
The Association of Southeast and East Asian Catholic Colleges and Universities (ASEACCU) is a regional association of Catholic Universities in countries within this geographical area. The purpose of the organization is to promote Catholic higher education and to be a support for the local Churches. ASEACCU also aims to contribute to educational dialog on an international level beyond the Southeast and East Asian region
Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO)
SEAMEO is a regional intergovernmental organization established in 1965 among governments of Southeast Asian countries to promote regional cooperation in education, science and culture in the region.
University Mobility in Asia and the Pacific (UMAP)
The University Mobility in Asia and the Pacific (UMAP) is a consortium of Higher Education Institutions and partners, collaborating to increase opportunities for study abroad across the Asia Pacific region through a variety of short and long-term in-person and virtual exchange programs, as well as Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) experiences. The 25 members represent countries in and around Central Asia, South Asia, and the Pacific Rim, including East and Southeast Asia, Australia, and North, Central and South America.
