๐๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ๐ข๐ถ๐ฆ ๐๐ช๐ต๐บ, ๐๐ฆ๐ฃ๐ถ โ Strengthening their shared commitment to global engagement and academic excellence, the International Relations Officers (IROs) of the four CICM higher education institutions convened during the CICM Philippines Schools Network (CICM PSN) Governance Assembly to chart the network’s internationalization priorities for the School Year 2026โ2027.
Hosted by Saint Louis CollegeโCebu, the three-day activity is taking place from July 8 to 10, 2026, at the Dohera Hotel in Mandaue City, Cebu. The annual gathering brings together the leaders of the CICM schools to discuss strategic directions, strengthen institutional collaboration, and align initiatives that advance the mission of CICM education.
As part of the assembly, the International Relations Officers from Saint Louis University (Baguio City), Saint Mary’s University (Bayombong), University of Saint Louis (Tuguegarao), and Saint Louis College of San Fernando, La Union met for a planning session to establish the network’s internationalization (IZN) targets for Academic Year 2026โ2027.
The discussions centered on key priority areas that will further strengthen the global engagement of the CICM institutions. Among these were strategies to expand student and faculty mobility opportunities, enhance the internationalization of academic offerings, and promote innovative institutional internationalization initiatives that respond to the evolving landscape of higher education.
Recognizing internationalization as a strategic pillar for institutional development, the IROs reaffirmed their commitment to fostering deeper collaboration among the member institutions. By sharing best practices, aligning institutional priorities, and exploring new avenues for global partnerships, the network aims to create more meaningful international learning experiences for both students and faculty while strengthening the global competitiveness of CICM schools.
The planning session reflects the CICM Philippine Schools Network’s continuing pursuit of a unified and forward-looking internationalization agendaโone that empowers its institutions to embrace global perspectives while remaining firmly rooted in their shared Catholic and missionary educational tradition. Through collaborative leadership and collective action, the network continues to reinforce its vision of preparing globally competent graduates and cultivating academic communities that contribute meaningfully to an increasingly interconnected world.
