Louisians welcome SEA Teacher Exchange Students from Indonesia

Saint Louis College of San Fernando, La Union community warmly welcomes the exchange students of Teacher Education from its international partner institutions for a short-term exchange program under the Southeast Asia Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) SEA Teacher Program (SEA TP). The SEA TP is an international exchange initiative that enables pre-service teachers from Southeast Asia to gain hands-on practicum experience in another SEAMEO Member Country, Associate Member Country, or Affiliate Member.
Participants from Universitas Jambi (UNJA) are Mr. Bariq Nasywan and Ms. Nur Rahman Nida, while Mr. Faisal and Ms. Sintha Agiulina Tarigan join the program as delegates from Universitas Borneo Tarakan (UBT).
As a host institution, SLC-SFLU is committed to providing a supportive and structured learning environment for the inbound student teachers. The hosting period will run from November 3 to 28, 2025. During their stay, the exchange students will engage in training exposures at the Basic Education Schools of SLC-SFLU, immersion activities, and a cultural tour—all designed to enrich their learning journey and foster meaningful cross-cultural exchange.
The entire Louisian community graciously extends a warm and heartfelt welcome to the international guests, embracing them as valued members of the global Louisian family.
