The Department Head of Social Sciences of the Basic Education Schools (BEdS), Ms. John Carlo A. Manabat, will participate in the CommTECH Camp: SDGs Innovations hosted by Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) in Surabaya, Indonesia, from February 3 to 14, 2025.
The CommTECH Camp: SDGs Innovationsis an immersive program designed to explore the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and its innovative implementations at ITS and in Surabaya. The participants will engage in dynamic courses, discussions with key entity representatives, and hands-on societal engagement. Also, the participants will experience Indonesian culture and culinary delights while visiting iconic destinations. In addition, the program will offer a unique opportunity to exchange ideas, to collaborate on sustainable innovations, and to deepen understanding of the role of technology in community development.
This is a manifestation of SLC-SFLU’s commitment to internationalization to further the vision of the institution of establishing a global presence while enhancing global citizenship.
