CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, La Union โ The Saint Louis College School of Advanced Studies (SLC-SAS) has completed its migration to Canvas as its new Learning Management System (LMS), marking an important development in the Schoolโs efforts to strengthen the delivery and management of graduate education.
With the transition completed, Canvas now serves as the Schoolโs official digital learning platform, providing faculty members and graduate students with a centralized environment for accessing instructional materials, managing coursework, submitting academic requirements, administering assessments, and facilitating academic communication.
The migration involved Canvas LMS site admin training, Canvas LMS faculty training, course development and migration activities, and student orientation via the self-paced Passport to Canvas course, to familiarize users with the platformโs features and functionalities.
Beyond the technological shift, the adoption of Canvas supports a more systematic approach to course organization, instructional delivery, assessment, and learner progress monitoring, consistent with the Schoolโs commitment to outcomes-based education and continuous quality improvement.
The completed transition represents another milestone in SLC-SASโs ongoing efforts to improve its digital learning infrastructure and provide a more organized, accessible, and responsive graduate learning experience.
