SAS and PJMA–SLC empower graduate students through “Mind Your Own Business” Seminar on Sustainable and Strategic Leadership

The School of Advanced Studies (SAS), in collaboration with Philippine Junior Marketing Association (PJMA) – SLC Chapter, successfully held a seminar for MBA and PhD students on May 10, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Social Center, Saint Louis College, SFC, La Union. The event, titled “Mind Your Own Business,” focused on the theme “Sustainability Meets Strategy: Aligning Purpose, Performance, and Profit in the Modern Business World.”

Featured speakers included Ms. Allyn Grace M. Sta. Maria of ACE Hardware Philippines, Chef Princess San Diego, an internationally and locally recognized entrepreneur, pastry chef, CEO and founder of What’s Your Flan? and Ube Story, chef instructor, and motivational speaker and Mr. Chino San Diego, CEO of What’s Your Flan?, Entrepreneur of the Year 2024, and Asia CEO Awards 2024 honoree.

They challenged participants to reflect on their own goals and find ways to turn ideas into action through responsible business leadership.

Through this seminar, SAS and PJMA–SLC reinforced their commitment to developing forward-thinking graduate students equipped not only with academic knowledge but also with the mindset and motivation to lead transformational change in the real world.
