Synergia International Research Conference 2026 opens at SLC

The Synergia International Research Conference, scheduled from May 6 to 8, 2026, officially opened tonight at Saint Louis College of San Fernando, La Union with a Welcome Dinner and Networking Session at Café Luis, gathering academic leaders and institutional partners from across the Philippines and abroad.
Leading the welcome were members of the SLC Management Council, headed by Rev. Fr. Roderick G. Villamar, CICM, PhD, alongside the conference working committee.
Among the institutions already in attendance were University of Northern Philippines, Virgen Milagrosa University Foundation, Saint Mary’s University, and University of Saint Louis – Tuguegarao. Also present were representatives from key academic organizations, including the Philippine Association of Collegiate Schools in Business and the Philippine Council of Deans and Educators in Business. Also in attendance are participants from Northern Philippine College of Maritime, Science, and Technology, one of the participating schools in the conference.
International delegates have likewise arrived, with participants from St. Xavier College and Saigon Business School joining the opening activities. Meanwhile, representatives from Saint Louis University and Multimedia University are expected to arrive tomorrow.
The evening program features cultural performances by the SLC Center for Culture and the Arts (CCAH), including the Samtoy Dance Troupe and the SLC Chorale, who presented folk dances and songs to entertain the guests.
Hosted by Saint Louis College La Union, the conference continues over the next two days with a series of research presentations, discussions, and collaborative engagements aimed at strengthening academic partnerships and advancing research initiatives.
