Saint Louis College Honors Class of 2026 in Three-Day Commencement Exercises

Saint Louis College (SLC) proudly celebrated the achievements of the Class of 2026 through its three-day Commencement Exercises held from July 1 to 3, 2026, at the Father Burgos Gymnasium, honoring a total of 1,031 graduates from its various academic colleges and recognizing outstanding board examination topnotchers.

The grand commencement ceremonies began on July 1 with the graduates of the College of Business and Accountancy (CBA). A total of 375 Louisians were conferred their respective degrees in a solemn yet joyous celebration attended by the SLC Administration, faculty members, academic support and non-teaching personnel, as well as the graduates’ families and loved ones.

The occasion commenced with a Baccalaureate Mass presided over by Rev. Fr. Victor V. Julaton, JCL, who delivered an inspiring message centered on hope, purpose, and gratitude as the graduates prepared to embark on a new chapter of their lives.

Adding pride to the celebration, SLC recognized two Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination topnotchers. David A. Ireland, CPA, who ranked Top 5, and Geesa Mae M. Rimando, CPA, who ranked Top 17, were awarded Plaques of Distinction for their exemplary achievements.

The second day of the commencement exercises, held on July 2, honored the 328 graduates of the College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA). The celebration began with a meaningful Baccalaureate Mass presided over by Rev. Fr. El Niño Dela Cruz, SThB, MA, attended by the graduates’ parents, guardians, faculty members, and administrators who accompanied them throughout their academic journey.

Capping off the College’s Commencement Exercises, on July 3, another 328 graduates from the College of Arts, Sciences, Technology, and Education (CASTE), the College of Law and Criminal Justice Education (CLCJE), and the School of Advanced Studies (SAS) proudly marched to receive their degrees.

Through a solemn Baccalaureate Mass once again presided over by Rev. Fr. El Niño Dela Cruz, SThB, MA, graduates joined their loved ones, the school administration, faculty, and staff in a collective moment of prayer and thanksgiving before formally closing an important chapter of their academic lives.

The final ceremony also served as a moment of immense pride for the Louisian community as SLC honored three regional topnotchers in the Licensure Examination for Criminologists. Regional topnotchers Christian Froi F. Ducusin, Top 1; Majh Lawrence G. Collado, Top 3; and Katrina Tiu, Top 6, received Plaques of Distinction in recognition of their outstanding accomplishments.

The three-day commencement exercises stand as a testament to Saint Louis College’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence and holistic formation. Beyond the degrees conferred and accolades received, the ceremonies celebrated the resilience, hard work, and aspirations of every Louisian graduate.

Congratulations, Class of 2026! Fly high, Louisians!
