The College of Business and Accountancy of Saint Louis College (SLC) hosted the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Board of Accountancy for a comprehensive courtesy visit, inspection, and monitoring session on June 9, 2026. The evaluation was conducted to ensure that the institution’s Accountancy program continually meets and maintains the official quality standards and regulatory benchmarks set by the professional board.
The esteemed evaluation team was led by Hon. Gloria T. Baysa, member of the Professional Regulatory Board (PRB) of Accountancy, alongside Ms. Sushmita May D. Biason, Senior Professional Regulations Officer and PRC Region I representative.
The engagement focused on collaborative discussions regarding professional licensing processes, continuous improvement initiatives, and an in-depth review of the program’s compliance protocols and instructional delivery. The evaluation yielded highly favorable results, with the PRC representatives commending SLC for its strong framework and dedication to academic excellence.
By working closely with national regulatory bodies, SLC reinforces its vision to produce the next generation of competent and ethically grounded professionals in the field of Accountancy.
