LISA’s Lead VICE Session for Student’s

The Louisian Internationalization Student Ambassadors (LISA), under the supervision of the Global Affairs Office, will host the Virtual International Cultural Exchange (VICE) for Students of the College Department and the Basic Education Schools on May 4, 2026, at 2:00 PM via Zoom.
Anchored on the Internationalization-at-Home (IaH) framework, this initiative forms part of The GLoBE Project, which was launched in December 2024. Guided by the theme “Together, We Expand Horizons,” the program underscores the institution’s continuing commitment to fostering cross-cultural understanding and advancing meaningful global engagement beyond geographical boundaries.
The session will focus on the topic, “Think Global, Act Global: Why a Global Mindset Matters for Students Today.” It will feature a dynamic real-time cultural exchange among participants. The resource speakers are composed of students from Sanata Dharma University (Indonesia), Fuji Women’s University (Japan), Catholic University of Korea (South Korea), Saint Francis University (Hong Kong), University of Saint Joseph (Macau), and Australian Catholic University (Australia).
To facilitate meaningful engagement, participants will attend plenary lectures and take part in parallel sessions designed to encourage interactive dialogue with the resource speakers. This structure is intended to promote rich academic and cultural exchange between Louisian students and their international counterparts.
The Virtual International Cultural Exchange serves as a vital platform for cultivating global perspectives, strengthening intercultural competencies, and reaffirming SLC-SFLU’s commitment to internationalization, as the institution continues to advance toward greater participation and engagement on the global stage.
