SLC-SFLU successfully completes ISO 21008:2018 Stage 2 Certification Audit

Saint Louis College of San Fernando, La Union proudly marks another milestone in its continuing journey toward excellence in education with the successful completion of the ISO 21001:2018 Stage 2 Certification Audit, conducted on January 12–17, 2026, by third-party auditors from Indonesia representing the British Standards Institution (BSI).

Over the six-day audit, the College community actively engaged with the international audit team, showcasing its commitment to a learner-centered Educational Organization Management System (EOMS). Administrators, faculty, and staff shared their practices, initiatives, and improvements aligned with international education quality standards.

At the conclusion of the audit, the external auditors announced that SLC-SFLU is Recommended for Certification, affirming that the institution’s systems, processes, and culture meet the requirements of ISO 21001:2018.

This achievement reflects the strong leadership of College President, Rev. Fr. Roderick G. Villamar, CICM, PhD, whose vision continues to guide the institution toward quality, accountability, and continuous improvement. More than a compliance exercise, the ISO audit became a meaningful learning experience, highlighting collaboration, openness, and a shared commitment to providing quality education that responds to learners’ and stakeholders’ needs.

The College extends its heartfelt gratitude to all offices, faculty, and staff who contributed their time, effort, and cooperation throughout the audit process. This accomplishment is a testament to what can be achieved when the entire academic community works together with a common purpose.

Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam.
