DTI conducts Serbisyo Caravan at SLC-SFLU

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Region I, together with the Regional Consumer Affairs Council, conducted the CWM 2024 Serbisyo Caravan at Saint Louis College of San Fernando, La Union on November 27, 2024.

The Serbisyo Caravan Fair featured activities such as Diskwento Caravan, Kadiwa ng Pangulo, Consultancy Services, Seedling Distribution, and Seminars on Digital Financial Literacy, Consumer Rights, Mental Health Awareness, and the Effects of Vape and Cigarette Smoking.

Mrs. Feliza Mae C. Villanueva, MBA, CMITAP, AFP, CEPP, CWP, Program Head of Business Administration of SLC-SFLU joined the DTI representatives headed by Mr. Hermogenes Armando Zaldy Z. Zafra Jr., Chief of the Consumer Protection Division of the Department of Trade and Industry RO1, during the opening ceremonies of the event which primarily aimed to promote awareness among the public on various government services while encouraging them to support SMSEs.

Mr. Zafra said in an interview that future opportunities for collaboration between the DTI and SLC are now being explored, hoping that Serbisyo Caravan Fair is just the start of their productive and lasting partnership particularly in the conduct of advocacy programs, lectures, and seminars.
