With the aim of advancing the internationalization initiatives of the institution, Saint Louis College of San Fernando, La Union (SLC-SFLU) formalized its partnership with Universitas Muhammadiyah Prof. Dr. Hamka, Indonesia, yesterday, December 12, 2024, in a ceremonial signing of a Memorandum of Understanding.
SLC-SFLU was represented by its president, Rev. Fr. Roderick G. Villamar, CICM, together with the members of the management council, Global Affairs Officer, Research Management Officer, and the Community Extension and CICM Advocacies Coordinator. UHAMKA was represented by the Vice Rector I, Anisia Kumala Masyhadi, M.Psi., M.Psi,. Pyschologist; Prof. Dr. Hj. Nani Solihati, M.Pd., Vice Rector III of UHAMKA; Prof. Herri Mulyono, Ph.D., Director of the Research, Community Service, and Publication Institute; Dr. Gufron Amirullah, M.Pd., Director of the Education and Teaching Development Institute; Akbar Nadjar Hendra, S.S., M.Pd., Director of the Ranking and Cooperation Institute; and Dr. Ratih Novita Sari., Head of the Division of Cooperation and International Affairs.
The partnership aims to provide more opportunities for student exchange, faculty mobility, and international academic programs and research activities. Both institutions commit to working hand in hand to make international learning accessible and available to their respective students, faculty, and staff.
