The Research Management Office extends its heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Rainier Flor S. Marquez, a graduate student in the program MA Education Major in Religious and Values Education in SLC-School of Advanced Studies. Mr. Marquez successfully presented his research paper on interreligious dialogue, contributing to the expanding discourse on Pope Francis’ encyclical Fratelli Tutti. Originally submitted as a course requirement for “Contemporary Moral and Socio-Ecological Issues” (RVE 212) under the guidance of Mr. Niño Randy C. Flores as their professor, this work explores the impact of interreligious dialogue and highlights the role of religion in strengthening the moral fabric of society through social friendship and dialogue. We are hereby pleased to share the abstract of his study so as to glimpse the core ideas communicated therein.
As we are hoping that Mr. Marquez’s work gets published, we also strongly encourage our faculty and students to pursue their research interests and share the fruits of their study and reflection through publications and presentations. Padayon!
