SPED 211 Class hosts webinar on Psychoeducational Assessment

The SPED 211 class, focusing on Psycho-Educational Assessment of Children with Special Needs, successfully hosted a free webinar on March 8, 2025. The virtual event, held from 8:00 AM to 12:00 NN via Google Meet, aimed to equip general education teachers, special education teachers, students, and other interested individuals with crucial knowledge on assessing and supporting learners with special needs.

The webinar featured a distinguished speaker, Mr. McDowell P. Agwayaway, an Educational Diagnostician from the United States Department of Defense Education Activity in Kaiserslautern, Germany. With extensive certifications and educational achievements in his field, Mr. Agwayaway provided valuable insights into various methods for assessing children with special learning needs. His presentation also highlighted effective strategies for managing diverse learners with special needs, emphasizing the utility of the Individualized Educational Program (IEP).
