Saint Louis College – College of Business and Accountancy (SLC-CBA) successfully hosted the Research Bootcamp on Waves of Wisdom (W2) from March 11–13, 2026, at San Luis del Mar in Bauang, La Union. As the first initiative of its kind, the bootcamp was organized by the Philippine Association of Collegiate Schools of Business (PACSB) in partnership with Saint Louis College of San Fernando, La Union (SLC-SFLU), bringing together administrators, academic deans, program heads, and business educators from across the country.
Anchored on the theme “Harnessing the Power of Knowledge and Innovation,” the event centered on the development of research proposals focusing on sustainability and artificial intelligence. This initiative reflects PACSB’s continued commitment to advancing the quality of business education in the Philippines.
Designed to strengthen research competencies, the bootcamp provided participants with opportunities to refine their research initiatives under the guidance of experienced mentors and resource persons. It also served as a dynamic platform for scholarly collaboration, capacity building, mentorship, and meaningful knowledge exchange among PACSB members and partners.
The final day of the event was held at Café Luis within the SLC campus, where participants enjoyed special performances by the SLC Chorale and the Samtoy Dance Troupe, showcasing their award-winning talents. This was followed by participant presentations and a campus tour organized by SLC-CBA.
Overall, the Research Bootcamp on Waves of Wisdom (W2) proved to be a meaningful and productive undertaking, equipping participants with valuable insights and skills that will significantly contribute to their respective research endeavors.
