International Student Mobility (ISM) Program

The International Student Mobility is a unifying internationalization program for students, facilitated by GAO, that encompasses all interrelated programs, projects and activities that requires students to travel abroad to join trainings, and participate in seminars, conferences, and conventions like the Louisian Internationalization Student Ambassador (LISA). The purposes of the program are to: (1) create opportunities for exchanges with internationally recognized higher education institutions, (2) provide students exposure to global communities by participating in internationalization activity abroad, and (3) enable students to collaborate with a diverse range of partners around the world to help gain the sense of what it means to become a global citizen.
