Louisian Internationalization Student Ambassador (LISA)

The Louisian Internationalization Student Ambassador (LISA) is the first and flagship program under the International Student Mobility (ISM) Program of the Global Affairs Office (GAO). This program aims to engage the students in the internationalization initiatives of the institution, especially those that are spearheaded by GAO. Aside from eliciting engagement, the LISA program will serve as an opportunity to empower the students by exposing them to the international academic and professional communities through participation in trainings, conferences, seminars, mobility programs, and networking activities across Asia.

This program diversifies the means of reaching out to the students and encourage further engagements as the student ambassadors will be tasked to come up with strategy propositions as inputs to the efforts of the Global Affairs Office in upholding the importance of internationalization in their quest for professional development. Ultimately, the goal of the program is to build a community of students, and eventually, alumni who promote and uphold internationalization among all the stakeholders of the institution as a means of improving the pursuit of achieving global competence.
