Reduced Inequalities

SLC is one with the Commission on Higher Education in implementing the Gender and Development program that “seeks to achieve gender equality as a fundamental value that should be reflected in development choices and contends that women are active agents of development, not just passive recipients of development.”

The school also celebrates Women’s Month every March to further show its support for a gender-inclusive community.

On a wider scope, the month of June is Pride Month and it is annually celebrated to support advocacies against gender discrimination through acts of voluntary non-profit donations, active protests, parades, and other matters surrounding the subject.

Commitment. Equality. Love. These are being blown by winds in directions we least expect them to be. In celebrating pride celebration and fighting for women empowerment, lies love – warm and glistening, yearning and waiting to penetrate the senses of society to form a connection where inclusivity and unity win.
