Saint Louis College (SLC) has joined hands with Barangay Sibuan-otong and Sibuan-otong Integrated School to launch the “Panagdanggay ti SLC ken Sibuan-otong” project. This program is intended to establish a sustainable income generating scheme for the community, reflecting our commitment to stewardship of God’s creation.
Recognizing the abundant natural resources bestowed upon us by our Creator, SLC has embarked on the initial stages of a project aimed at extending support to the affected vendors of the recent fire that devastated San Fernando City’s public wet market. Through the “Capability Building Program for the Federated Market Vendors Association of San Fernando Towards Cooperative Development,” and in collaboration with the Office of the City Mayor, the initiative aims to identify and address the specific needs of the market vendors as they recover from this disaster.
SLC embodies the unconditional grace and divine providence of the Lord through its community engagement programs, serving to uplift individuals. By intertwining sustainability and collaboration, the institution demonstrates its commitment to cultivating a dynamic, economically resilient community where everyone can prosper and contribute to a sustainable future.
