Select members of the Saint Louis College of San Fernando, La Union (SLC-SFLU) administration, faculty, and staff took part in an orientation on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the formulation of AI guidelines on March 21 at Café Luis, SLC.
As AI continues to reshape the educational landscape, its integration in teaching, learning, and institutional operations presents both opportunities and challenges. The orientation aimed to equip educators, administrators, and students with the knowledge and tools to navigate this evolving digital age while upholding academic integrity and excellence.
Leading the session was Dr. Cecilia A. Mercado, Director of Technology Management Development and Data Protection Officer of Saint Louis University. With her expertise, participants gained valuable insights into responsible AI use, ethical considerations, and best practices in implementing AI-driven innovations within the institution.
