The Bachelor of Secondary Education and Bachelor of Elementary Education Batch 2019 of Saint Louis College extended their helping hands to random individuals across the City of San Fernando, La Union on August 2, 2025.
The City was hit by Super Typhoon Emong when it made landfall on the eve of July 25 leaving massive destruction and devastation it its wake. With a genuine missionary spirit, these young educators radiated hope and compassion as they distributed simple relief baskets containing one kilo of rice, canned goods, noodles, soap, and toothpaste.
In these challenging times for all Ilokanos—especially our fellow provincemates—their actions embody the words of Fr. Theophile Verbist: “We have a good and beautiful mission.”
We would like to sincerely thank everyone who responded to our Call for Donations. Your generosity made this mission possible. May God bless you abundantly!
