iSHARE (I Support Holistic Approaches in Classroom Engagement)

The iSHARE Program is a set of collaborative engagement activities of faculty members from various universities, local and abroad, that provides a platform for the sharing of best practices and the exchange of diverse teaching ideas and perspectives based on specific disciplines. By bringing educators together, this initiative fosters professional dialogue, encourages reflective practice, and promotes innovative approaches to pedagogy.

At its core, this engagement serves as a convergence of educators who openly share their experiences, insights, and strategies, which in turn become the foundation for developing new and more effective ideas in teaching. Through this process, participants are able to critically reflect on existing methods, adapt innovative practices, and co-create knowledge that strengthens both individual and institutional teaching capacities. Such collaboration not only enhances the quality of teaching and learning within participating institutions but also advances a broader culture of academic excellence, collegiality, and continuous improvement.

This program adapts the value statement “Global Insights, Holistic Teaching, Engaged Classrooms.” This value statement emphasizes the integration of global perspectives into teaching practices to promote holistic classroom engagement. Through international collaboration and knowledge exchange, the program strengthens faculty capacity to address diverse learning needs, foster inclusive learning environments, and enhance student participation across cultural and academic contexts. The statement also underscores the program’s commitment to faculty empowerment. It positions holistic classroom engagement as an outcome of shared experiences, reflective practice, and continuous professional development informed by global educational perspectives.
