SLC–SFLU showcases Community-Responsive Research at the 5th International Research Summit in Vietnam

Saint Louis College of San Fernando, La Union (SLC–SFLU) participates in the 5th International Research Summit of the Philippine Association of Collegiate Schools of Business (PACSB) on October 13–14, 2025, at Dong Nai Technology University, Bien Hoa, Dong Nai, Vietnam. Representing the College are Dr. Caroline G. Pajimola, Dean of the College of Business and Accountancy, and Ms. Lynette Maureen D. Gomez, Instructor of the Business Administration Program.

The SLC–SFLU delegates will present their research titled Financial Management Practices of Public Market Vendors in San Fernando, Philippines: Basis for Cooperative Development. This study reflects the institution’s compassionate response to the tragic fire that displaced numerous market vendors in the City of San Fernando, underscoring SLC–SFLU’s commitment as a Catholic missionary educational institution to community upliftment and resilience.

Through this participation, SLC–SFLU continues to advance its dual thrusts of internationalization and community engagement, empowering its faculty to contribute meaningfully to the global academic and socio-economic landscape.
