Saint Louis College of San Fernando, La Union (SLC-SFLU) has formally established an institutional partnership with Sanata Dharma University, Indonesia. This meaningful collaboration was solidified through the representation of Rev. Fr. Roderick G. Villamar, CICM, PhD, President of SLC-SFLU, and Albertus Bagus Laksana, S.J., S.S., Ph.D., Rector of Sanata Dharma University during the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on August 20, 2025 in Taichung, Taiwan.
The partnership covers a wide range of academic engagements, including Faculty Exchange, Student Exchange, Hosting and Participation in International Conferences, and Short-Term Programs. These areas of cooperation are envisioned to strengthen cross-border academic linkages, provide a platform for intercultural dialogue, and broaden opportunities for both faculty and students to engage in transformative global learning experiences.
This partnership underscores the shared commitment of both institutions to promote academic excellence, foster international collaboration, and contribute to the development of globally competent graduates who can respond to the challenges of an interconnected world.
