Institutional Development and Quality Assurance Officer

The Institutional Development and Quality Assurance (IDQA) Office is responsible for:

  1. Establishing and managing institutional mechanisms to effectively monitor the implementation and delivery of the College’s Strategic Planning process.
  2. Implementing quality assurance programs and mechanisms that align with both national and international standards to uphold academic and operational excellence.
  3. Strengthening communication channels to enhance engagement and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders of the College.

Moreover, the Office facilitates and coordinates the College’s strategic planning processes, providing technical support to strategic units and departments in accreditation, evaluation, and recognition efforts (e.g., Centers of Excellence/Development). It oversees strategy formulation, implementation, evaluation, and control. Lastly, the Office reviews and updates policies and procedures in collaboration with department heads to ensure continuous improvement. As the repository of all Manuals of Operating Procedures and Guidelines (MOPGs), it also initiates the review and updating of the College’s Institutional Development Plan and Strategic Plan.
