On September 26, 2025, representatives from SLC-SFLU joined hands with fellow volunteers to plant tree saplings at Barangay Arosip, Bacnotan, La Union. It took place from 6:00 AM – 9:00 AM.
The event was organized under the Ridge to Reef Project in the Province of La Union – a multi-sectoral collaboration that brought together various stakeholders, including the academe, Local Government Units, the Provincial Government, National Government Agencies, Non-Government Organizations and Civil Society Organizations, led by the Jaime V. Ongpin Foundation, Inc.
This tree planting activity promoted ecosystem health and solidarity among the volunteers.
