On February 13, 2026, the Saint Louis College Alumni and Job Placement Office successfully hosted the first SLC Career Summit (1st Batch) with the theme “Pathways to Success.” More than 600 Louisians participated in the event, which brought together students and professionals for a morning of inspiration, learning, and meaningful career guidance.
The summit featured distinguished speakers who are also proud alumni of the institution. These were Dr. Honorina Dian-Baga (Director IV, DOLE RO1), Engr. Arnulfo A. Cacho (Provincial Assessor, Provincial Government of La Union), Prince Charlo N. Baga (Psychology Instructor, DMMMSU-MLUC), and Jennifer Almojuela Areiga (Sun Life Advisor). The speakers shared their personal journey, practical pieces of advice, and valuable insights on career growth, resilience, leadership, and financial preparedness with the Louisians.
Through engaging talks and interactive discussions, the students were encouraged to pursue their professional goals with determination, integrity, and faith. The event ended with participants feeling renewed motivation and a deeper understanding that success begins with the pathways they choose.
The summit was made possible through the collaboration of the Alumni and Job Placement Office, Saint Louis College Guidance Center, and the College Information and Marketing Office (CIMO), in partnership with AMB Communications, Sun Life, and Noble Infrastructure Construction and Engineering.
