Dovetail

Dovetail

Recognizing the growing importance of research collaboration and scholarly visibility, Dovetail is established as an overarching internationalization academic program that integrates and harmonizes institution-led initiatives focused on hosting international research conferences.

Through Dovetail, international research conferences are positioned not as standalone events but as coordinated platforms that bring together faculty members, researchers, and partner institutions to share knowledge, generate collaborative research opportunities, and contribute to global academic discourse. The program supports the dissemination of research outputs, fosters interdisciplinary and cross-border collaboration, and strengthens the institution’s role in international research networks.

Dovetail advances sustainable internationalization by embedding research-driven activities into the core academic mission of the institution, thereby enhancing research culture, academic quality, and global visibility.

General Objectives of the Program

The Dovetail Program aims to:

  • Provide an overarching framework that aligns and integrates international research conferences with the institution’s research and internationalization agenda.
  • Strengthen international research collaboration by creating platforms for faculty members and researchers to engage with global academic partners through conferences and scholarly exchanges.
  • Enhance research capacity and visibility by supporting the presentation, dissemination, and publication of research outputs in international academic venues.
  • Promote sustainable international partnerships by using research conferences as catalysts for long-term academic collaboration and joint research initiatives.
