Saint Louis College proudly presents the distinguished alumni who received The Outstanding SLC Alumni Awards (TOSAA) 2024. TOSAA celebrates exceptional Louisian alumni who have brought honor to the College and made a real difference in the world through their impactful achievements and contributions. Whether at the local, national, or international level, these awards recognize alumni whose dedication and influence have uplifted communities and inspired others.
The event was made possible through the dedicated efforts of the SLC Alumni Association (SLCAA), under the leadership of its president, Mr. Butch Zafra, in coordination with the SLC Alumni and Job Placement Office, and with the staunch support of the SLC administration led by Rev. Fr. Roderick G. Villamar, CICM, PhD.
The awarding ceremony was a highlight of the PATĀWID: SLC Grand Alumni Homecoming and Recognition Gala, held on December 14, 2024, at the SLC Grandstand. It was an evening filled with fun, music, laughter, and nostalgia as Louisians from around the world reunited. Alumni reconnected with old friends, reminisced about cherished memories, and once again experienced the warm embrace of the SLC family.
Not even a downpour could dampen the spirits of the crowd, who remained unfazed and full of energy, proving the unbreakable bond of the Louisian community. Adding to the festive atmosphere, jubilarians were given special recognition, their milestones celebrated with heartfelt applause and admiration.
The stage came alive with excitement as some of the most talented alumni delivered stunning performances, rekindling their artistic spirit for the Louisian crowd. The celebration was further enriched by presentations from the SLC-Center for Culture, the Arts, and Heritage.
The evening stood as a beautiful reminder of the shared legacy, enduring camaraderie, and intrepid Louisian spirit that continue to inspire generations.
