COORDINATOR, CENTER FOR CULTURE, THE ARTS AND HERITAGE

  • graduate of any related program in Cultural Education, Arts Management, Communication Arts, Social Sciences or Liberal Arts
  • with relevant knowledge and experience in events and production management in academic and/or professional capacity
  • participated in relevant lectures, seminars, workshops or training camps in the fields of culture, arts and heritage
  • can demonstrate general administrative ability required in planning, implementing, and evaluating the institutional culture and the arts development program
  • can establish and maintain effective working relationship with members of the institution, community, public and private organizations

            (Major in Educational Management)

  • with Master’s or Doctorate Degree respectively (along the field of specialization)
  • relevant teaching experience is an advantage

Departmental Research Coordinators:

  • One (1) per academic department (BEdS, CASTEIT, CCJLE, CCSA, CEA, SAS)
  • Note: This is not a full-time position; the nature of appointment is unit-based.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1.     To formulate a Departmental Research Agenda customized to the needs of each program/discipline;

2.     To craft, implement, and evaluate a Departmental Research Engagement and Productivity Plan;

3.     To coordinate with the ResMO on matters relative to research capability building of the faculty;

4.     To animate the faculty members in engaging in research projects (at least one research project per year);

5.     To conduct initial review of research proposals submitted by the faculty;

6.     To monitor the progress of approved faculty research proposals;

7.     To prepare and submit reports as per calendar plan.

Non-Teaching and Academic Support Personnel

Accountant

  • holder of a professional license in Accountancy
  • with experience in the proper maintenance of accounting records and compliance with requirements of government regulatory bodies

Internal Auditor

  • holder of a professional license in Accountancy
  • with at least one (1) year experience in developing and implementing internal controls and conducting audit
  • must have strong analytical and interpersonal skills along with strong organizational ability
  • must be able to obtain, analyze and evaluate a variety of information; organize, interpret and present it in meaningful oral or written form for varied audiences and provide solid analysis leading to sound decision-making
  • with high degree of computer literacy
  • can work with minimum supervision

Research Officer

  • with a Doctorate Degree
  • with above average supervisory skills
  • with record of active participation in school researches, publications, collaborations/linkages, and other related activities.

School Physician

  • Licensed Physician
  • Relevant work experience in a school setting is an advantage
  • Good organizational and effective human relation skills

Librarian (Substitute)

  • graduate of a course in Library and Information Science
  • skills in organizing library materials
  • knows how to operate the Library Destiny Manager

BASIC EDUCATION SCHOOLS

Principal, BEdS

  • The Principal for Basic Education will manage, administer, supervise, and control all the academic activities of both the Elementary School and High School.
  • with a Master’s Degree in the field of specialization or in Education
  • holder of a license for professional teachers
  • has undertaken research other than Master’s thesis or has devised innovative materials/processes to enhance the efficient and effective delivery of services
  • with at least five (5) years of exemplary work performance as evidenced by outstanding efficiency ratings
  • has leadership capability as evidenced by:
    • the ability to organize in-service programs / activities for faculty and students
    • the ability to serve as committee chair in school programs, activities, and functions

COLLEGE DEPARTMENT

Academic Dean, College of Arts and Sciences, Teacher Education, and Information Technology (CASTEIT)

  • with a Doctorate Degree in Education
  • holder of a license for professional teachers
  • has undertaken research other than the Master’s thesis/doctor’s dissertation
  • with at least five (5) years of teaching experience
  • with at least five (5) years of administrative / supervisory experience
  • with an outstanding efficiency rating for the last three (3) years
  • has leadership capability as evidenced by

* the ability to organize in-service programs / activities for faculty and students

* the ability to serve as committee chair in school programs / activities / functions

* serving as resource speaker, facilitator, trainor or similar academic endeavors

Program Head (Hospitality and Tourism Management)

Department Head (Christian Faith Education)

  • with related Master’s degree, preferably with Doctorate
  • with relevant teaching experience
  • with record of active participation in different school activities
  • with above average efficiency rating for the past three (3) years
